Successful site acceptance tests of FCI Service Module Simulator SCOE for TAS-FR

12.01.2017

Clemessy Switzerland AG team successfully performed site acceptance tests of FCI Service Module Simulator SCOE at Thales Alenia Space Cannes (France) which finalized the project.

Delivered SCOE will provide electrical power to the instrument, command and control functions of MIL-STD 1553 interface, synchro signals generation, ASM, BSM, HPC and TSM signals acquisition.

The objective of the MTG mission is to provide Europe, and, by extension, the International Community, with an operational satellite system able to support accurate prediction of meteorological phenomena and the monitoring of climate and air composition through operational applications for the period of time between 2017 and 2037.
The Flexible Combined Imager (FCI) on the MTG-I satellite will continue the very successful operation of the Spinning Enhanced Visible and Infrared Imager (SEVIRI) of Meteosat Second Generation (MSG) satellite Meteosat-8.
