The Umbilical validation Tools (UVT) provide portable boxes containing equipments allowing to test all umbilical functions during launch phase.

As a baseline, it provides :
> Simulation of the S/C load
> Simulation of the battery load
> Sink and display of the telecommand generated by the EGSE
> Generation of a telemetry stream (most of case containing a reduced telemetry set)
> Generation of the "measurements" nominally available on the S/C Umbilical interface

As options, it can be fitted with:

> UVT box powered thanks to umbilical power
> Remote control with specific Telecommands
> Front panel test points
