We are able to provide :
Engineering support covering system, hardware and software expertise during development phase of a project, covering various aspects:
This support can be achieved in factory or on site.
Customer support during operation and maintenance, either on a phone consultancy basis, either on a "ready to go" basis (under 48hours in Western Europe) or directly on customer site.
EGSE Engineering Support
Phase B Support
Clemessy is used to provide Engineering support for EGSE definition during Definition phase. This support can be achieved in Clemessy’s premises (with regular check points with the customers), or on an embedded team basis at the customer premises.
This engineering support is to be considered as a concurrent engineering: While the customer defines the spacecraft, we define in parallel the necessary AIT EGSE (for the sub systems themselves or for global AIT of the sub systems). Our Engineering is driven by the customer iterative requirement evolutions, each step been validated either through progress meeting, either through review with overall prime contractor.
Phase C/D Support
Clemessy is used to provide Engineering support for MAIT covering system, hardware and software expertise during Implementation phase.
This engineering covers various aspects:
This engineering support can be achieved in factory or on site.
Phase E Support
Clemessy is used to provide Customer support during LEOP operations. This support can be organized following several solutions:
This performance has been achieved for all the satellites for which Clemessy has provided EGSE, at a minimum on a telephone hot line basis.
Operation support :
Clemessy is strongly involved in various launch pad operations since the early 70. This involvement covers not only launch pad operations but even local performance of electrical engineering and installation :
European Spaceport :
Clemessy is present in Kourou through a permanent team, under Arianespace authority, for the daily launch pad operations and for the specific launch pad campaign.
This team of around 30 engineers and technicians, is embedded in the Ariane (respectively Soyuz and VEGA) team for the following activities :
In parallel of these embedded team, Clemessy provides electrical engineering, development and maintenance performance to many local customers (EDF, administrations, supermarkets, Arianespace, EADS, CNES, ..). These activities are fulfilled through a local autonomous establishment of around 70 staff, engineers and technicians.
In Kazakhstan :
For each Soyuz launch in Baïkonur, Clemessy provides an expert team embedded in the Starsem teams. This embedded team is aimed to support the Starsem team for all facility management operations and specific electrical launch operations (ground – S/C interface configuration, …).
