Communication

European Data Relay System

OHB System Bremen (Germany)
Delivery of PCDU SCOE which provided 110 independent LCL channels each of them ensuring electrical limiter and rising / falling edge controlled second level protection, simulation of 112 heater lines and TM&TC handling in MIL-STD-1553B.
The European Data Relay System (EDRS) system is a European constellation of satellites that will relay information and data between satellites, spacecraft, UAVs, and ground stations. Intention is to provide almost full-time communication, even with satellites in low Earth orbit that often have reduced visibility from ground stations. It will enable availability of on-demand satellite data for rescue workers in regions of crisis.

European Data Relay Satellite-C

OHB System Bremen (Germany)
Delivery of Solar Array Power Simulator SCOE’s which allowed high power simulation of satellite solar arrays (up to 3kW per section).

Astrosat 250

Airbus Defence & Space [former EADS Astrium Toulouse] (France)
Delivery of PCDU SCOE which provided 24 independent LCL channels each of them ensuring electrical limiter and rising / falling edge controlled second level protection.
Astrosat-250 is a modular satellite platform developed by Airbus Defence & Space. Platform is ECSS (European Cooperation for Space Standards) compatible, designed as one-failure tolerant with an in-orbit lifetime up to 10 years.
